Operations Buyer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Handling the day-to-day procurement of technical components, assemblies, and services
• Requesting, Reviewing, and Comparing Quotes
• Processing orders, tracking and monitoring deadlines, and taking action in the event of delays
• Ensuring the availability of materials for production
• Maintenance of Supplier and Product Master Data in the ERP System
• Communication and coordination with suppliers regarding delivery dates, quantities, and prices
• Processing of order confirmations, complaints, and discrepancies
• Support with price negotiations and supplier selection
• Analysis of Demand and Inventory to Optimize Procurement
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes

Your qualifications:

• Completed vocational training in a business or technical field (e.g., industrial clerk, technical clerk) or a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in purchasing, ideally in an industrial setting (mechanical engineering, manufacturing)
• Technical understanding of drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in using standard MS Office programs, ERP systems, and other IT skills
• Knowledge of contract law and purchasing terms
• Negotiation skills; ability to work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner
• Good oral and written English skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
