Our PRO 2H is an automated premium solution for fire departments and industrial service providers with small hose maintenance halls who want to combine high throughput with reliable processes and ergonomic one-man operation.
With static components made of 100% stainless steel, it can process up to 48 hoses per hour. The system combines technical simplicity with an overall efficient hose maintenance process.
The only on-site requirements are water and wastewater connections, a three-phase power connection and a suitable floor. The automated system carries out the complete process — from pre-soaking, washing, flooding and pressure testing to hanging, drying, taking down and winding.
The system is based on a test bench developed by PREY. Its widened tub and semicircular hose layout operate without electromechanical devices and support combination with Hose Hanging Systems in full-tower or half-tower configurations.

As a highly automated hose maintenance halfstreet, the PRO 2H performs all process steps automatically, from hose entry to hose discharge. The only exceptions are coupling and uncoupling the hoses and inserting them into the winder.
As a result, each hose is handled only six times. All other operations are controlled through the user-guided touchscreen operation.
The PRO 2H is also designed as an ergonomic solution, with all work steps carried out at waist height — without bending down or lifting loads above shoulder height.
As the world’s most energy-efficient hose maintenance halfstreet with tower drying, the PRO 2H combines almost 100% test-water recovery with an average power consumption of just 2.9 kW. At high throughput, this corresponds to less than 150 W per 20 m hose.
For maximum safety, pressure testing takes place behind a personal protection disc. The consistent use of stainless steel, combined with PREY’s characteristic precision manufacturing, ensures a long service life.
Integrated hose data management via the large-format touchscreen makes the PRO 2H a complete solution. Hose data can be managed directly in the system control and imported into all common fire service data management programs, eliminating the need for an additional separate computer.
