RUD. PREY GmbH—PREY Aufzüge for short—is a long-established medium-sized company now in its third century and fourth generation of leadership. Since its founding in 1892, PREY Aufzüge has been 100% owned by the founding family and has been an owner-managed business ever since.

Over the past century, we have specialized in the development, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of elevators, firefighting equipment, and custom material-handling systems.

Due to strong growth since the 2010s, we have spun off our elevator and firefighting technology divisions into independent companies effective January 1, 2023. PREY Aufzüge operates branches and service centers from Sylt to Hanover and from Bremen to Neubrandenburg, and sells and maintains elevators in northern Germany as well as specialized material-handling systems worldwide.

We are a medium-sized industrial company that combines the comprehensive range of services offered by a corporate group with the flexibility and customer focus of a small business.
