PRO 2VH – the all-rounder
Our PRO 2VH is the automated premium solution for fullstreet and halfstreet operation, combining the advantages of both system types. It is designed for fire departments and industrial service providers with conventional hose maintenance halls.
With static components made entirely of stainless steel, the PRO 2VH can process up to 54 hoses per hour. It combines an intelligent safety concept with technical simplicity and ergonomic design for efficient one-man operation.
The PRO 2VH features an extended maintenance trough in which the hose is redirected through 180 degrees and guided through the trough in an arc. This design doubles the usable maintenance path, allowing hoses up to 40 metres in length to be processed.
On-site requirements are limited to water, wastewater and three-phase power connections, as well as a suitable floor for the hose maintenance room and rinse water drainage.
The automated system performs all hose maintenance functions, from pre-soaking, unwinding, washing and measuring through to optional elongated or semicircular laying, pre-flooding, pressure testing, draining, hanging, drying and winding.
This exceptional versatility is based on PREY’s development of automated halfstreet and fullstreet systems. Fullhalfstreets are typically combined with our Automatic Fire Hose Hanging Systems in full- or half-towers. Depending on the hanging technology used, this configuration can achieve a throughput of up to 54 75 mm hoses per hour.

The world’s most powerful hose maintenance street with hose tower
As a highly automated fullhalfstreet, the PRO 2VH performs all steps automatically from hose entrainment through to hose ejection—with the exception of coupling and uncoupling the hose and inserting it into the winder.
As a result, each hose only needs to be handled seven times. All other operations are performed via the intuitive, user-guided touchscreen control. This reduces the risk of operating errors and eliminates unnecessary walking distances.
The PRO 2VH is also designed for maximum ergonomics. All operating steps take place at waist height, without the need to lift the hose during the maintenance process. No bending or handling of loads above shoulder height is required before, during or after the cleaning process.
With almost 100 % test-water retrieval and an average power consumption of just 2.9 kW, the PRO 2VH is the most energy-efficient hose maintenance street with hose tower drying. At a throughput of up to 54 hoses per hour, it requires less than 150 W per 20-metre hose.
For maximum safety, pressure testing is carried out behind a personal protection disc. The operator remains behind the disc while the pressure test is being monitored by the control system.
Long service life is ensured by the consistent use of high-quality stainless steel and PREY’s precise in-house manufacturing. Static components and almost all metal components are made of stainless steel, alloy 1.4301. This provides excellent durability and optimum corrosion protection, even when foam concentrates are used.
The integrated hose data management system makes the PRO 2VH a complete solution. Hose data can be collected and managed throughout the hose’s service life directly via the large touchscreen. The integrated USB interface also enables data to be imported into commonly used fire service data management software. No separate computer is required.
