The most effective chamber drying system in its class!
Our SDT continuous-flow hose dryer is the most effective chamber drying system. With static components made of 100% stainless steel, a throughput capacity of up to 14 hoses per hour, and a unique operating principle, it combinescombines high energy efficiency with high drying quality in single-operator mode —without bending over, no flaps, and no unnecessary walking.
Essentially, the SDT dries the outer layer of fire hoses using precisely directed thermal energy and dissipates heat into the airaccording to the respective moisture saturation level. Our SDT can be used either as a separate or integrated drying unit. It can be combined with any type of hose maintenance system and manufacturer and, thanks to its design, automatically adapts to the stroke rate specified by the hose maintenance system — without any control connection whatsoever.
Unlike conventional drying cabinets, the SDT is opened neither manually nor through large door openings. Instead, loosened hose coils are automatically fed through and removed via the smallest possible, self-opening flaps and removed, so that a maximum amount of thermal energy remains in the chamber and is optimally utilized. The automatic flow from bottom to top directs the moist hoses toward the hot-air blower with decreasing humidity levels,, ensuring that the driest air is always in contact with the hose that is next to leave the chamber.
Operation is timed to be staggered with the hose maintenance system and does not require any additional labor time; Follow-up times are automatically controlled and terminated. For a 20-meter B-hose that has already been dehumidified, the SDT removes up to 800 g of water while requiring only 0.56 m² of floor space— the smallest space requirement of all drying systems.
