Hose data is recorded and managed via the interactive, large-format touchscreen with a Windows interface throughout the entire life cycle of the hose, pump, or CSA directly within the system control unit, which features an integrated USB interface. An additional, separate computer is no longer required for this purpose.

The operator PCs are integrated into the local network, and the data is made available at any desired location within that network for viewing, management, and further processing, as specified by the operator. Optionally, the data can be formatted in any standard data format for import into other management programs.

At the express request of our customers, the operator PC is equipped with Internet access—either directly or via the local network. This also gives the systems access to the so-called “Internet of Things.” Through this, internal and external “customers” can be directly and automatically informed about the processing status and condition of their hoses, pumps, and CSAs, and materials can be marked as complete or reordered.

The new SDV was made possible by the introduction of PREY’s new generation of control systems. It represents the logical next step in the evolution of this technology. Users of appropriately equipped PREY systems are intuitively guided through the operation via the new Windows interfaces, step by step. Operating instructions and product videos for the respective system can be accessed directly from the user interface.

In addition to the remote programming option already available in the previous generation of control systems, PREY’s new SDV now also enables our Service Center to access the user interface directly, allowing us to assist users in real time as they use the system.
