Protective Clothing Care. Fully Covered.
Our CPA 24 is the world’s first fully automated maintenance and testing system for chemical protective suits and firefighting protective gear that covers the entire process from the black zone to the white zone. It cleans, disinfects, and dries CSAs inside and out, automatically transporting them through the entire process—including an integrated leak test.
From the suits being moved from the black zone into the booth, through the automatic closing of the doors, cleaning, disinfection, and drying, all the way to inspection, opening the doors, and moving them out to the white zone, every step is fully automated . Additional lance racks are no longer necessary, as all media are supplied to and removed from the suits via the existing outlet openings.
The CPA 24 is modular in design and can be precisely adapted to the requirements of the respective fire department or plant fire department: with 1 to 4 loading stations, glass or opaque doors, automated or manually operated, loadable from one or both sides, in right- or left-hand versions. It can be supplied with a fully enclosed cabin for a fully automated end-to-end process or without a cabin for an automated internal process and manual external maintenance.
About 90 minutes after being hung up, the CSAs are available again in the white zone – cleaned, disinfected, dried and inspected.

Fully automated maintenance and leak testing in a single process!
The CPA 24 is the first and, to date, only system that not only maintains chemical protection suits fully automatically but also tests their integrity as part of the same process. This is made possible by a specially developed, thermally controlled steam cleaning, disinfection, and drying process in which air, water, and steam are passed through the suits’ exhaust ports—with or without cleaning and disinfecting agents.
This media concept eliminates the need for bulky lance racks and, for the first time, allows the zipper to be closed during maintenance procedures. This enables the Leak test directly into the fully automated process , and Chemical Protective Gear with temperature resistance up to 60 °C can even be used entirely maintained .
Manual tasks are limited to hanging the suits and connecting them via the outlet openings, as well as selecting the program—a process that takes only a few minutes at the start of each cycle. Suit-type-specific process parameters are stored for all common brands and are selected via type selection ; the Chemical Protective Gear are continuously monitored via barcode, RFID or similar methods.
Multi-station cabins control each assembly station individually, allowing different brands to be processed in the same run with different parameters. All steps, including the leak test, are displayed in real time on the touchscreen, test reports are automatically generated, recipients are notified via text message or email, and the CSA’s service history is updated.
Fully automated maintenance and leak testing in a single process!
The CPA 24 is the first—and so far the only— system that not only maintains chemical protection suits fully automatically, but also checks their tightness during the same process. This is made possible by a specially developed, thermally controlled steam cleaning process, disinfection, and drying, in which air, water, and steam are directed through the suits’ exhaust vents —with or without cleaning and disinfecting agents.
This media concept eliminates the need for cumbersome lance frames and, for the first time, allows the zipperduring care procedures. This allows the leak test to be directly integrated into the fully automated process, and Chemical Protective products with a temperature tolerance of up to 60 °C can even be maintained entirely without chemical additives.
The manual tasks are limited to hanging and connecting the suits via the outlet openings and program selection—a task that takes only a few minutes at the start of each cycle. Suit-type-specific process parameters are stored for all common brands and are automatically applied when the garment type is selected; the Chemical Protective Gear is permanently recorded via barcode, RFID, or similar methods.
Multi-station cells control each assembly station individually, so that different brands can be processed in the same process using different parameters. All steps, as well as the leak test, are visualized in real time on the touchscreen, test reports are generated automatically, recipients are notified via text message or email, and the CSA’s maintenance records are updated.
